The Centralia Seventh-day Adventist Church was established in 1895. In 1907 the
church opened a Seventh-day Adventist Christian School to provide
Christian Community Education. Both have been active ever since.
The current church facility was built and put into service in 1963. A
Community Services Building and Fellowship Hall was added in the early 1970's.
The Centralia Seventhday Adventist Community Center (Dorcus) is a
community service organization, that works with other community service
organizations to provide clothing, food, household
items, etc. to those in need.
The Church has approximately 200 active members. It is activly involved
in the Community Christian Radio Station KACS (90.5 FM) and the local Lewis
County Adventist School K - 10; located on
Scheuber Road.
It is our desire to impact our community with the Gospel of Jesus
Christ. We endeavor to support those who already know Christ in a stronger,
more vital living relationship with Him. It is our
goal to provide services that will enhance the spiritual growth of our
children and young people, preparing them for service to others. We are here to
support others with prayers, influence,
means and talent in spreading the gospel of Christ.
